OverinkerDelete your Overinker account
You can delete your Overinker account and its associated data at any time, either in the app or by emailing us if you no longer have the app installed.
Option 1: Delete in the app
- Open Overinker and sign in.
- Tap the You tab at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap the Settings (gear) icon in the top-right corner.
- Tap Delete account.
- Type delete my account to confirm, then tap Delete account.
Your account is deleted right away and you are signed out.
Option 2: Request deletion without the app
Email us from the address you use to sign in to Overinker (with Google or Apple). If you used Apple's "Hide My Email", send it from the Apple ID email that forwards to your relay address, or include the relay address in your message.
Or write to support@overinker.app with the subject "Overinker account deletion request". Include the email you sign in with, your display name if you know it, and whether you'd also like your swatch posts deleted. We may ask you to confirm that you own the account. We'll complete your request within 30 days and email you when it's done.
What gets deleted
- Your sign-in account (Firebase Authentication) and your email address
- Your display name, bio, and avatar. Your profile shows as "Deleted user"
- Your discussion posts and comments, which are removed from the app
- Your likes, the accounts you follow, your notifications, and any uploads in progress
What we keep, and for how long

If you sign in again later with the same Google or Apple account, you'll start with a new, empty Overinker account. Deleted data can't be restored.
Before you delete
- Want a copy of your data? Use Settings → Request my data in the app, or email us, before deleting. After deletion we no longer have the email address needed to find your records.
- Sign in with Apple users: you can also disconnect Overinker from your Apple ID on your iPhone under Settings → [your name] → Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple.
- Google users: you can remove Overinker's access in your Google Account under Security → Your connections to third-party apps & services.
